Scottish Borders Council is at an early stage in preparing the next Local Development Plan, which will set out where development should and should not take place and help guide future planning decisions across the Borders.

As part of this early engagement stage, Scottish Borders Council are keen to hear directly from you and the communities you represent about the experience of local places. The survey invites feedback on the areas where you live, work and spend time, including what works well, what could be improved, and what you would like to see change in the future.

Your insight will play an important role in shaping the evidence base and informing the foundations of the new Local Development Plan, helping to ensure it reflects the needs and priorities of communities across the Scottish Borders.
